I am using Q 2005 Deluxe. How do I enter into my IRA account employer contributions.I purchase stock shares each pay period and take the stock purchase from the cash balance that was deducted from my check. Additionally, my employer purchases shares. How do I classify those to how they are being purchased?

Visit the Quicken Paycheck Wizard, for starters.
Tax > Tax Activities > Setup Paycheck > New
You can also pretty much duplicate the output of the Paycheck Wizard with a regular Quicken split transaction. (Pre-tax 401k Employer matches may require a little slight of hand to exactly duplicate the Wizard, but I think most folks can just use the Wizard).
