Stock error

Apr 16, 2005 2 Replies

Hello, I have 24 shares of stock from my employer, Quicker Deluxe 2005 has decided that the value is now 25.969684 shares. There is no way to force, that I am aware of, Quicken to correct the error. Does anyone else know how to fix this?

Thanks Lance

Review the transactions tab of this investment account and it may provide clues on how you got from 24 to 25.969684.

Reinvested dividends recorded via electronic download updates from the financial institution?

If, however, the original Bought transaction in the register somehow got pooched from 24 shares to 25.969684, you should be able to edit that there in the register.

Caveat: my ramblings are with Quicken 2004 Premier home & business in front of me.

Best Regards,

Re-enter (edit) the original transactions and make sure you let Quicken calculate the price/share and not the number of shares.
