compare to portfolio

In the online center in Quicken 2005 Deluxe under holdings, compare to portfolio, there is an error in one stock number of shares. The number of shares is correct in the Quicken account register. The number of shares in my account is correct on the brokerage company website. Repeated downloads from within Quicken from the brokerage company and from the brokerage company into Quicken do not fix the issue. How can I get the correct number of shares to show in the online center under holdings, compare to portfolio so I can do a successful compare to portfolio with the Quicken register? Thank you,

You can not "correct" the number of shares on the Holdings tab; that number is supplied by your fi in the download (separately from your transactions): it can only be corrected by your fi.
