I have Quicken Deluxe 2003 and would like to use my data on my new macintosh. To do so I have to export the quicken data to a qif file. When I go throught the steps that are supposed to work, nothing happens. No file is created. I sent quicken an e-mail and they suggested I call a number and talk to a specialist since they supposedly have a conversion service available. Unfortunately I can't even start talking without giving them a credit card number and 24.95 to find out how much it will cost to convert my data. I'm hoping that perhaps someone has a suggestion as to what may be causing my data not to export. I tried to export it to both a hard disk and to a usb flash drive. it failed in both cases. later I tried it again and it told me that it failed because I had removed the flash drive, which was true. So the program is apparently seeing something before refusing to write the data.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated especially since I've already bought the quicken for mac software and don't relish the prospect of entering several thousand transactions by hand.
