How do you delete an old scheduled transaction?

How do you delete an old scheduled transaction? I have Quicken 2005, and want to delete a scheduled transaction that's two years old and it will not let me.

Thanks,

IIRC, ctrl-delete lets you blow away a repeating transaction without communicating with the server.

If you don't use direct billpay, you may disregard the mention of server.

A server (at your FI) would only be involved if you are using direct billpay for that payment (your FI would then take care of repeat payment of your bill without further connections from you (until you wanted to cancel this bill)).

OK Marc - So the suggestion was to use ctrl-delete against a server's repeating transaction to get rid of it? This single method would work against all servers that use "direct billpay" I take it? (I realize you're not the one who suggested the answer).

(I thought the question was issued against Q's repeating transaction. Sorry.)
