I use BoA online services and Quicken 2005 Deluxe to download and auto-reconcile my online bank balance.
I have a need to manually clear a transaction posted in Quicken from one of my online BoA accounts but notice that if I clear the transaction manually, it will alter the online balance that's auto-reconciled with my bank's downloads. It will show a negative amount that is equal to the total of the cleared transactions.
How can I manually clear a posted transaction and auto-reconcile my account without throwing off the online balance displayed in my reconcile window?
