How to clear imports

Q2003:

How do you clear the "Accept Transactions Into Register" windows? I have imported a qif file 4 times (don't ask why), and I now have each transaction listed 4 times in the "Accept Transactions Into Register" window. I just want to clear out everything in the "Accept Transactions Into Register" windows and start over. I don't want to manually go in and delete hundreds of lines.

I went back to a backup file to start over. Then I imported the qif file once more, and now only have 1 copy of each transaction. Ok so far.

But the import data is still queued up and I can't get rid of it. It was imported, I'm done with the import, so go away! Now when starting a reconcile it bugs me about pending import data. The import data needs to be cleared out, the holding area reset. How?

You have to "Accept" those transactions ... or delete them, one by one.

The problem is that I did "Accept" and I am done with the import, the import was ok. For some reason the import view is still populated with the records just imported. I just want a button to clear the list. I think this is a huge bug in the program.

I had the same problem with a checkfree file I brought into quicken. Over

900 transactions had to be deleted manually, I tried to do 25 a day until they were cleaned up. If you do not want to go crazy shut the speakers off Ed

I finally just hit the Accept button one more time and this time the import window cleared. But I had all those duplicate transactions in the register. But the UI for deleting transactions is way faster in the main register so I did it that way. They know that qif files are inherently flawed and they should give you more power to fix things -- like delete on multiple records at once.
