How to post a transfer fee

Changed institutions that hold my IRA. The loosing institution charged a $50 transfer fee. Looking for the Correct "Action" to denote this charge. Tx

I do not have that option under the pull down Action button. The only one to get the job done was "MargInt" which is the only one allowing me to deduct the fee. MargInt has nothing to do with the fee, but makes the bottom line correct.

I use _IntExp Investment Interest Expense for my annual fee. I think it would apply for your situation too.

I may have misunderstood your question. The Action is Withdraw and the Category is _IntExp.

TX Hank. I am running Q2012 Deluxe. I do not have those actions under the pull down action tab. I did however use WithdrwX (withdraw & transfer) and used the same account number for the transfer TO account. All the category's are [ ] and therefore does not include a _IntExp. This still shows the correct "bottom line"
