Here is what I got from Quicken Support for the TSX. Have tried it on my version of Quicken (HAB 2009 Canada):

Since we have changed security download provider for Wall Street On Demand service, we have not been able to download those two index. As a temporary solution; we have identify a fix that will permit you to download those two indexes.

Please follow the following procedure:

For Toronto Exchange. Step 1. Open the security list in your Quicken data file. Step 2. Locate the security S&P/TSX Composite Index and double click on the name. Step 3. This should have opened the security detail view window for OSPTX. Now click on edit security details. Step 4. In the new window, click on the drop down arrow for Exchange and select U.S. Stock. Step 5. Click on OK to accept the change. In the new window leave the selection to Merge quotes from OSPTX into OSPTX. Step 6. Click Ok to accept the changes.

For Toronto Venture Exchange. Step 1. Open the security list in your Quicken data file. Step 2. Locate the security S&P/TSX Venture Index and double click on the name. Step 3. This should have opened the security detail view window for OSPVX. Now click on edit security details. Step 4. In the new window, click on the drop down arrow for Exchange and select U.S. Stock. Step 5. Click on OK to accept the change. In the new window leave the selection to Merge quotes from OSPVX into OSPVX. Step 6. Click Ok to accept the changes.

After those changes are made, do a one step update to download the missing information for those two indexes
