Another oddity from the 2009 Its Deductible...
When you enter items into the online web form, ID provides an estimated value for the donation. However, ID also has a disclaimer that states:
This is the estimated value to be used for planning purposes. These estimated values will be automatically updated to correct values once they are imported into TurboTax (Deluxe and above).
When you download these donations into TurboTax, the donation values (not the "savings") are changed substantially lower - on the order of 50% less than the value displayed online.
