I was checking the Quicken site for the upgrade features and saw this Medical Expense Manager. Is there anyone out there that can provide comments on this package? Sounds interesting, but...... Would like to hear some actual user comments....
TIA - Tom

Terrible piece of software in my opinion. I purchased and then after trying for a couple of days, applied for and got a refund.
You can't link with Quicken so you have to enter everything twice. In my situation, both my wife and myself have separate medical insurance plans through our employers. I found it just about impossible to calculate balances and reconcile with this software.
I found it much easier to set up a separate (Cash) account in Quicken for medical expenses. At least now I can transfer funds in and out of the account, keep track of amounts that are not covered by our insurance coverage and reconcile income and expenditures as the insurance checks arrive.
In my opinion, this software does very little that Quicken can't do, it's makes for a duplication of work and not very well thought out.

for those that can't deal with splits! (PS: Bottom line - skip the purchase)
