Using qkn 2008p w/vista. Recently ran a portfolio report that was subtotaled by account. The subtotals were correct but the final/grand total was off by about $50,000 (in my favor). While I wish this was true it is obviously wrong & I can't figure out why. Has anyone else seen this behavior or know a fix. It makes me uncomfortable to have an error of addition in my financial software.
Check your account settings and unhide any set as hidden. Maybe that will show the missing account.
Thanks for the response -- there are several hidden acc'ts -- however, they all show 0 balances. So this is not what is causing the addition error.
Turns out that the report shows cash in one acc't listed twice; the subtotal for that acc't is accurate with the cash added only once but the grand total adds the cash am't twice. Have copied data & then validated with no errors. How do I get rid of the 2nd cash am't???
