Printing Problems - Quicken 2005 Premier H & B Release 5

I had problems printing after the updating to Release 5. When I tried to print, Quicken kept crashing with Error 7384, 7347, 7298, or 7317.

The problem was that the Release 5 changed the defaults on the printers to color - even my monochrome black & white laser printer. Changing the settings to black and white solved the problem.

I'm also running Q2005 H&B R5, and I had no such problem with the program.

My available printers are an HP4000 (B&W) and an HP2500 (color). The

4000 is direct attached and the 2500 is over the home network.

I suggest that you should look for another culprit as to what CAUSED the printer config change.
