Q2005/Win98 Memory hog; Network Access?

I just installed Q2005 on my Win98 system, upgrading from Q2001. After doing different operations on different accounts, I get a warning that memory resources are low. If I don't heed the warning and continue, in most cases the system hangs.

I checked Google/groups and it seems as though others have had this problem and I'm guessing nothing has been done or will be done....

So I tried to access my quicken file over my network from my Win2000 system but it looks as if Quicken Deluxe doesn't allow this. Is this correct, or is there a way to do this?
