QHIM

Note: My question relates to the $30 Quicken Home Inventory Manager program. Not the "free" (included with Quicken) QHI (quicken home inventory) program.

New computer, so I was updating and reloading software. My quicken home inventory manager wouldn't install, so I check for updates and learn there is a new version. Before purchasing, I go to the Quicken Community support pages and learn that the new QHIM will not import the old QHIM data file. (It apparently will import the older QHI data, but I tossed that when I converted to QHIM).

It seems that Intuit offers no solution. So, anyone who bought the QHIM 1.O version will be required to manually re-enter data.

Just wondering, has anyone found a way to read/convert/export the old QHIM data so it can be imported into the new QHIM?

Déjà vu. QHIM 2.0 will not install under Win7 64 bit. The QHI program that comes with Qkn cannot open/restore the QHIM data file. If someone has a workaround to recover the data, post it here, please.
