QP2006: Bug in Tax Planner?

Sep 01, 2005 2 Replies

I just tried manually entering some figures into Quicken's Tax Planner, something I've been doing for years, with each version of Quicken. But I'm finding that it reverts to the old (manually entered) figures that were there prior to upgrading from QP2005. Has anyone else seen this?

Yes, QP 06 does not remember new manually entered am'ts. Spent about an hour getting #'s just as I wanted, printed & -- no new data -- frustrating.

I had posted a similiar problem here a week or two ago for Q006 H & B. I tried a re-install and still did not work. Later I was messing around with the import/export features to turbotax and noticed some wierd behavior so I uninstalled Q2006, then uninstalled turbotax 2004, re-installed Q2006 and I am now able to manually make adjustments w/o it reverting to original value. Still does not seem to properly sum up categories specfied for a given item in Tax Planner but at least now I can enter a manual value ...
