Question on 'bundled' TT and Q?

For the first time in at least 25 years (from my start of using Q for DOS), I am not buying Q by itself out of the store. (From what I've seen and no one has told me differently, Q 2014 doesn't seem to have ANYTHING that I find worthwhile.) So I'll wait until it is bundled with TT.

How does that bundling work? Is there a way that each version of Q is bundled with differing versions of TT (like Q D and TT P for example?), or does one only get the same type of each (Q D and TT D, or Q P and TT P?). Is it in stores, or can one only order the package over the web.

Thanks!

Since such a bundle doesn't exist yet, nobody can know for sure what it will be like. We don't even know for sure that there *will* be a bundle this year.

I depend on Q for my investments and online downloading of quotes & accounts, and only get a new version of Q when forced due to "sunset" schedule...

I do however gladly pay retail for TT each year - as my 1040 is 40 pages ! (college, K-1, 1099, IRA, etc)

In the past, it's usually been in the form of a rebate if you purchase both boxes at the same time from the same store. Whether the deal was funded by Intuit or the retailler, I couldn't say.

OK - thanks - I like this method; I always try to support my local retail establishment. Thanks. I'll keep my eye open for the coupon or whatever when I see TT come out.

I'm sure that the owner thinks of you as he enjoys one of multiple off shore vacations, while he probably pays most of his staff minimum wage. (sarcasm switch now OFF)

As long as the retail industry that supplies me with the opportunity to look and feel and browse in a 'real' store, fine by me however their business model works out. Not sure what you're trying to say??

Andrew, what I am trying to say is that I feel absolutely NO RESPONSIBILITY for keeping ANYONE in business--local or otherwise. Chances are most of these business owners take far more vacations than I do. Ditto for eating out...trading in their vehicle etc.. If they can't make a go of it, FUCK THEM, I say.

You always have the most pleasant things to say. Is there any person, place or thing that you actually like or have positive things to say about?

Unlike many LIEbrawls, I call a spade A SPADE! Enough of naivete and political correctness. Buying local "just because" is so much b.s.. Why should I enrichen someone just because they live closer to me than someone else?
