I am running Windows ME and Quicken 2004 Deluxe. I want to create a new account as I usually do. After I choose the Instatution, go to the next screen and choose the currency, Quicken locks up when I hit enter. The whole computer locks up. My only recourse has been to Ctrl, Alt, Delete and end task (Quicken). I have had a similar problem with some reports. I have a "My Transactions' icon on the toolbar which opens to a Reports History screen where I can open any of a number of saved reports. When I hit the 'Customize' tab Quicken locks up as does the whole computer. Ctrl, Alt, Delete. I can open a new report from 'Reports' and customize. I would like to upgrade my OS to Windows XP Quicken 2006 Deluxe, but not before this is resolved. To make matters worse, my back up files never were right. When Intuit gave up supporting Quicken 99 was when I moved to the 2004 Deluxe platform. Transfering my files became particularly ugly and several hoops had to be jumped through to get it done. I just installed 2004 on another computer and tried to move/copy my data to it with no success. Something is not a true 32 bit, some files are missing, etc. are messages that I recieve from new backup. Any ideas on what is going on here?
