Quicken 2001 Printing Help/Possible Upgrade

Aug 23, 2009 2 Replies

Hi.

I have Quicken 2001 Basic. When I got my new computer, I went from Windows XP to Vista. Since then, I am unable to print any registers. Everytime I try to print, I get the following error message:

Could Not Open Printer. Check Your Printer Selection.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

If not, which Quicken 2009 software can I get that I will be able to transfer all of my existing Quicken data over to. I do not use the online options so the cheapest option would be more than enough.

Thank you.

Quicken 2001 likely will only accept the printer selected as default in Start|Printers. Check that a printer is set as default.

Ebay has Quicken 2009 for sale for around $25. I would suggest the deluxe version, not the premier or home and business.
