Quicken 2004 transactions ledger problem

I have my mutual funds listed. Ones that were bought this year are showing up in the portfolio window with N/A for the return on investment even though the purchase has been entered.

When I go to the transactions window, these purchases have a c or an r on the left hand column and there is a dropdown. What do c and r stand for?

I purchased these funds by selling others but never entered the cash balance (which was usually temporary). Is this part of the problem?

Can someone explain this and tell me how to get out of the mess?

TIA

Louise

I suggest you check the "Glossary" definition for the column heading involved. Often "N/A" means you have not held the security long enough for Quicken to compute the value.

"c"= cleared; "R" = reconciled (same as in the "Clr" column in non-investment accounts).
