Quicken 2007 update problem

Last week Quicken installed a small update and now my new transactions don't seem to download. The on-line balance updates but the transactions don't dome down. Any ideas?

I've ran into a couple of instances like that myself since the udpate, on one had to manually mark the item as cleared, and some still show up in the window where you manually match them, but they are already cleared. Most of my transactions download, but some it leaves out there. Will be curious to hear other's experiences.

I had a similar problem, it has to do with R5. I uninstalled and only updated to R3 and everything works fine.

I got the R5 update to my H&B 2007 a week or so ago. My downloads seem to be working fine.

I had that trouble on my desktop before I left FL for the summer. (My Q.07 was in R.4 at that time.) However, when I restored my backup to my laptop, all the downloads showed up. It was still in R.3 and I left it there. After 6 weeks or so, that laptop went out. I bought a new HP with 2 gigs RAM and Vista and installed Q.07. With trepidation I also allowed it to update all the way to R.5 and it has worked like a charm. Come home to my desktop (an older HP running XPsp2 with 700+ RAM), restored my back-up and upgraded to R.5 thinking that is what corrected my download problem. WRONG. I made a back-up and restored back to my laptop and the downloaded files were all there as usual, waiting to be accepted.

It isn't that they don't download, they just don't show up. Prior to leaving for the summer I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Q.07 to no avail.

I think next I will try reinstalling and only allowing it to upgrade to R.3 as someone mentioned in an earlier remark.

I found what worked for me was removing the One Step Update Online Service from the account then re-enabling it. It didn't get the missed downloads but it did cause it to get all the subsequent ones on future updates.
