Quicken 2013 Deluxe Font Size

I recently updated my Windows OS from XP to 8.1 Update. In the process, I reinstalled my Quicken 2013 Deluxe. I use a modest sized 21" LCD monitor, and some rather mature eyes and find the default font in Quicken too small. The "Preferences" option for Register Font size seems only to adjust the size of fonts in my various Banking and Credit registers, but has no effect on the Investment accounts where I think of the transaction listings as "registers" too, but obviously Quicken does not. There is also the "View" option for large Fonts, but it seems to go overboard to a size that is easily readable, but forces the registers to be so wide, I have to scroll to see all the columns I want. In XP I was able to resolve to a happy medium

11 pt Tacoma font with changes to one of the Desktop fonts for Windows. Windows 8.1 Update has many fewer options for changing font size on the screen Appearance page, and I adjusted all of them from 9pt to 11pt and none of them have had any effect on those fonts in Quicken that are not adjusted by the Register Font size. Anyone know of another place I might nudge the standard Quicken fonts toward 11-ish, without going all the way to the View Large Font which must be 14 or so?

Thanks
