Quicken 2014 Premier does not exit memory after scheduled update

I am using Quicken Premier 2014 for Windows, and run scheduled updates every morning at 5:00. Every morning around 6 or so, I have to open task manager and "end" qw.exe, or Quicken will not open. When I first bought the 2014 version I went back to 2011. Now it is sunsetting and I had to switch. Any one else have this problem?

As far as I know, everyone has that problem.

The only hope for Q2014 users is that there will be one last patch (a Release 8) for Q2014 that fixes the problem. Otherwise it's either wait for Q2015, or upgrade to Q2012 or Q2013.

At least for me, the problem is sporadic. I run SU at 8am 6 days a week (no need to run on Sunday, none of my FI's post on Sat. night)

The problem occurs, for me, about once a week ... but sometimes more and sometimes not at all.

I.E. VERY sporadic ... which makes it very difficult for Intuit to diagnose and remedy. Because the first step in any such condition is to be able to reliably re-produce it on demand ... so that you can determine the causes.

Well, at least I'm not alone.
