Quicken 2014 has lost knowledge of all securities in some screens

After a recent OSU, Quicken compared my holdings to the brokerage holdings and determined that every one of them was wrong... i.e Quicken didn't have a record of anything. However, my Portfolio View is correct, with all ho ldings, prices, etc, and my investment accounts and net worth values are al l correct. Can anyone suggest which part of Quicken has lost its mind and how to repair it? This happens for every OSU now, and also if I compare ho ldings in the Online menu option.

Update: temporary condition that has resolved itself. I guess something was wrong on Intuit's servers, because I am no longer getting any consistency errors about my holdings.

IF, your broker is Morgan Stanley (and it sounds like it is), THEY were downloading a "holding" that was dated 2001 (no typo, 2001) and that was creating a placeholder transaction in Q. There's some indication that MS got their act together. db

Yes, it is Morgan Stanley. I didn't see any odd misdated holdings, just a complete mismatch on holdings reported by Q.
