Can't upgrade to Q2014 on an iMac running Fusion and WinXP

May 06, 2014 2 Replies

I'm being forced to upgrade from Quicken2011 to 2014, but I keep getting an error message when I pop in the new install disk that says the system does not meet minimum requirements. I currently run Q11 on an Intel-based iMac using VM Fusion 2.0 and Windows XP Professional. Anybody know where the pro blem resides? I assume it's the XP component, now that MS has redlined it, but I'd like confirmation before I send off any more money to Seattle for c opy of Win7.

thanks in advance Mark

would be good to know -

Last time I was forced to change OS, was upgrading Quicken - on Win98se - was forced to XP.

Ran into a TurboTax prob this year, as my Pent III CPU was NOT supported by the TT Installer. they had a corrected full download on the website.
