Unfortunately, I've run into a problem with leaving it running. If it is up overnight, I start to see problems with stock prices in my accounts. Now, I shut down Quicken each day, and restart it the next.
I do normally go many days without rebooting. But, I play games on my computer, and some of them cause problems over time.
Interesting. I've had no such problems.
I downloaded and installed 2011 Premier two weeks ago and have had no pop ups or ads of any type. The only difference is Intuit provides me a free copy of Quicken every three years as a Billpay customer.

I would like a way to charge for advertising space used on my screen. Bill boards charge the advertisers and networks have to be supported by the people that use them to push ads and the like.
Great plan! If you find a way, let me know. I get lot's of advertisements on my web browser. And, I see all kinds of advertising on my big screen TV. Now, if I could cash in on those, it would be a real gold mine.
One can only wonder what would have happened if M$FT had succeeded in buying Quicken/Intuit years ago; the government disapproved the sale.
