Quicken Investment Performance Report - Help please

Using Quicken 2004 (australian version) I am trying to use the Investment Performance Report, in order to compare my portfolio performance with stockmarket "accumulation indices" (capital gains plus dividend income over a nominated period). Unfortunately I suspect that the Australian version includes Imputation Credits (a tax refund to individual taxpayers in recognition that company tax has already been paid on the profits) in its income calculation, whereas the market Accumulation Index would not, as this depends on the individual/company tax situation. Does any subscriber know if my assumptions are correct, or can tell me more precisely how quicken determines Investment Performance. (The help manuals seem to be devoid of any such information !). Many thanks
