quicken problems with Abbott/AbbVie split

When I updated portfolio pricing Quicken shows huge errors (several million dollars) in the amount of AbbVie shares credited to my accounts. These errors do not show up in the brokerage accounts involved. Also cost basis is completely wrong. I can make the correct entries myself (without Quickens help) but I cannot find a way to cancel what they have done to screw it up. Any suggestion on how to untangle this mess?

I have another posting here - about the same general topic.

Basically, ABT was at about $66 - They did a spinoff for ABBV - 1:1 split... so each is now at about $33.

Since there was no "split" in the transaction history, the share price history was not updated to reflect the "split", so my price graph shows the stock falling 50%

My Schwab acct has the ABT stock correctly showing current market value, along with the current market value for my new ABBV stock. BUT - the Cost Basis entries are messed up.... with the ABT entry still showing the orig total investment amount, and the new ABBV showing as "missing" - requiring a manual update. But since I can't update the ABT Cost Basis to basically cut it in 1/2... not sure what I'll do.

This must be some weird transaction that is a combo "split" to get the pricing and cost basis properly calculated, along with a "spinoff" to properly create the new stock from the old company..
