Updating bond quotes

Is there a way to get Q2013 to update bond quotes the way it does stock quotes, using one-step-update?

Thanks, Marvin

No. Not, as it appears you're asking, from the same sources that Quicken gets "quotes" from.

The only alternative to manually entering bond prices, is to get them from the financial institution where you hold the bonds ... when you download from that financial institution. The downloaded "holdings" from each financial institution generally contain prices for each of the securities held there.

But in my experience it's common that bond prices don't get updated as often as stock prices. I believe updated bond prices are only available on days when there are actual trades for a given bond at the financial institution where you hold the bond.

------------------------------------------------------------ As John P. described, my bond prices get updated by Fidelity without any problems. Fidelity holds all the bonds in my account. I don't own any muny bonds or treasuries so can't say how they'd do with those types.

I have several individual munis in my brokerage accounts. Their "prices" (sic) download along with transactions. However, other than providing a general idea of value, they don't mean much. Only if you sell or ask the broker to get a bid for them will you get a real price.
