Updating quotes

Does anyone know if there's a keystroke combination for updating stock quotes in Quicken Home & Business 2013?

Many thanks.

ALL ability to download into Q2013 (all versions) was ended on 4/30/16, per the End User License Agreement that you agreed with when you installed Q20

  1. So, in direct response to your question ... there is none.

To resume download, you need to upgrade to a more recent product year of Q. Q2014 will sunset (stop downloading) on 4/30/17 Q2015 will sunset on 4/30/18 Q2016 will sunset on 4/30/19 Q2017 will sunset on 4/30/20

BUT, also read at least the start of this thread:

Can Windows Firewall be used to prevent Quicken Internet access? If so, us ers should be able to prevent modification of the executable program. I loo ked and found an item named "Intuit Update Service v4." I'm using Q2015 Pre mier on a Windows 10 system. I'm resigned to losing online use of Quicken i n 2018 but would like to retain the ability to modify my old data file. Man ual data entry is painful but a possible option for the future.

What makes you believe that the program needs to be modified in any way? A nd how does this reply pertain to Frank Kirk's question?

Lastly, IF you set your firewall to block Q's access to the 'net ... how ar e you going to get stock quotes ... which is Frank's concern???

Sorry, no offense meant. My intent was to reply to you (Dan Brown) not Fran k Kirk. I'm a heavy user of Quicken Direct Connect and I've been using Quic ken since 1992. Thanks for the link in your post. I read though the entire discussion.

In my post I was just trying to join in the conversation and suggest a work around for the makers of Quicken plans to make data files read only. I do understand that blocking Quicken access to the internet defeats downloading quotes and bank transactions. I thought that part of my post was clear. I may not have expressed my thoughts very well but I thought you and other Qu icken users might like to hear from another long time Quicken user. I expec t our use of Quicken is coming to an end whether we like it or not.
