Downloading current stock quotes - doesn't

I'm just making a guess here, but I had a similar occurrence once and it seemed to be solved by disabling all the stocks in the on-line preferences, shut down and start up again and then selecting the ones I wanted.

If you mean from within One Step Update that won't work because the only tab I have in there is "Connection" and there's nothing in THAT tab. I suspect a data file is munged someplace....

I had a similar problem until I read this thread.

Using Q2006Premiere, something suddenly happened. After many years of successfully using one step update (for quotes only), Quicken suddenly crashed, and kept on crashing every time.

I have been working with Q "tech support?" on and off for weeks. None of their suggestions were really satisfactory.

Making changes in my securities download list, as this thread suuggested, finally fixed the problem!!!!!
