Quicken 2013 Canada - Crashing after running reports

Has anyone else had issues with the new 2013 Quicken version. I contacted Intuit but there are no Canadian upgrades yet, however the US version is at R10.

I have found areas were the main category does not add correctly in the budget set up and also it has crashed 4 times today and when I run most of the reports the program closes. The few reports that do work only show the main categories or nothing at all.

The Canadian version almost never gets as many updates as the U.S. version. They generally lump multiple U.S. patches into one or two Canadian patches. I have no idea when there will be a Canadian patch released.

I don't think your program crashes are a common occurrence for Q2013 users; I would consider the possibility that you have some corrupted data.

There have definitely been some bugs in the Q2013 budget process, though some have already been fixed.

One bug that has been fixed is the bug that prevented the Budget report option to show "Non-zero actual and budgeted categories" from displaying any category level data ... when that option was selected, only Category Group amounts were displayed.

And the Q2013 budget process is going to work differently than previous versions.

Here is a blurb from an Intuit developer on, at least part of, the new Q2013 budget workings.

A tip for the Budget report: if you don't see parent category totals, try adding the parent category to your budget.

No problems with it here.
