Each time I use Q (2009) I am reminded that I have a bill due. (Actually, today I was reminded that I have one bill due and one overdue.) But when I click on the reminder it tells me I have no bill due! Is there any way to disable this practical joker?

Most likely it is Quicken wanting to know if you want to create a scheduled transaction for a transaction that has already been entered.
I think if you go to the Banking > Summary tab and scroll to the bottom, you should see a question asking if you want to "schedule this" (or words to that effect).
If you never want Quicken to ask that question again, I think you can click "Options" in the Bill and Income Reminders (or right-click in the pane itself) and uncheck the "Review my accounts for candidate transactions" option.
No luck on either score, John--nothing seems to be prompting this, and no "Review my accounts" option. Thanks anyway. (The only items I've scheduled are real estate/personal property taxes in July.)
