reports & graphs show same data for every time period

I have created a graph to view data for, say, the latest 12 months:

The results in a report or chart shows identical data for each point in the reporting interval: for example, any item (say a credit card balance) is the same for every month in the year if i choose "last 12 months, at one month intervals". Therefore the graph is flat!

Is this a setting? correctable? a Bug?

Thanks, Michael

After finding that my first 1,788 more personal email address choices were already in use, I decided to just go with efficiency.

You really haven't supplied enough information.

What version of Quicken? What graph?

To some extent the answer may depend on what the meaning of "flat" is. Are we talking absolutely flat, or just nearly flat? (If there is not much fluctuation in the actual balances, there will not be much apparent change in the height).

Have you verified the customization is correct? Accounts? Categories? How are you treating transfers for the graph? What does the "report" tab indicate for the customization you have chosen?

If you don't think the balances shown in the graph or the report are correct, what have you done to determine what data is either missing or incorrectly included? Are any periods correct?
