I think you will have to wait for Money 2006 if you want to "convert" Q2005 files. Until then, you would have to export from Quicken to QIF and import the QIF to Money. See:

And there is no distinction between Quicken "backup" files and Quicken non-backup files; they are the same format and if there is a conversion for the year of your Quicken version, it will convert backups and non-backups.

Did you try asking in the microsoft.public.money newsgroup?

Did you try looking at the response to the message that you posted 14 hours before this one?

Can you possibly explain what mental process brought you to the belief that a bunch of Quicken users would be the people to ask about how to convert to MS Money?

WE DON'T USE MS MONEY!

That's not necessarily true. Some use BOTH or at least have some knowledge of how MS Money works.

I'd help the guy more if he would show an ounce of knowledge of how to use newsgroups. He keeps sending the same message over and over again. A few of us have pointed him towards the Money newsgroup where this would be an appropriate question to ask. But since he keeps ignoring our answer there is no sense in wasting my time looking in quicken and money to see if there is a way to do it.
