Scheduled Transaction not workng ?

I see a few other posts here about a similar problem, but no resolution... This is with Q05. I have a re-occurring fixed $$ monthly payment, that is set up to be automatically entered, 1 day in advance on Day 6 of every month, and applied to a credit card account. This way I can see it in my scheduled transactions until the day it is paid. It is also set up with no end date.

However, when I'm at the "Home" page and the list of scheduled transactions is showing, the status of this one is overdue! yet the action status of it on the far right is Auto.

Have I missed something about having scheduled transactions automatically entered? The way I understand it, it should of been entered in the register last Thursday.

Q05 is beginning to confuse me....

I may have found the cause of the problem.

Quicken has been "active" for the past 5 days or so. When I shut it down & restarted it this afternoon the indication that a transaction was overdue was gone.

So... If quicken is smart enough to know that the transaction date was past due, why wasn't it smart enough to enter it without having to be restarted?
