Scheduled Transactions Using a Credit Card QU H&B 2006

I have several Schedule Transactions, both regular and repeating set up for my checking account so I know how to do that.

Can I do the same thing with a credit card account? For example, I like to donate to a charity and would like to charge it to my credit card. I set up the transaction in Scheduled Transactions, clicked Enter and it shows up in the credit card register. However, I don't see anything like a Scheduled Transaction with a bank where the next time you update the instruction to the bank is "Sent".

It appears there is no way to "Send" an instruction to the credit card company to pay the charity the amount I specify. Is that correct? Please tell me if there is a way to do it.

Don't think so, Arnie.

I use scheduled transactions in credit cards to be reminded/entered. For me that allows me to tell a number of suppliers with repeating billing to charge the card(s). The downloaded charge is matched to the scheduled transaction previously entered.

Depending on circumstances some credit card scheduled transactions are entered manually, most are set up to be auto-entered by Quicken. Use of auto-entering came after many months of manually entering scheduled transactions when reminded. It was - for me - just a case of getting comfortable with the process.
