Does the super-validate feature still exist in Quicken 2011 Premier?
I have this Quicken running inside Parallels Desktop, inside an Apple iMac computer. That might be my problem. When I hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys, and click on menu items, nothing happens. This prevents me from launching super-validate.
Any suggestions?
Interesting, doesn't appear to work on Q 2011 Deluxe either, and that indeed is the magic keystroke sequence I recorded as working earlier as well.
I just tried SuperValidate in Q2011 Premiere R8 (20.1.8.6), and it appeared on the menu.
I went into File Operations, the selected Validate while I was holding down the shift and control keys.
The dialog box that appeared had an entry for SuperValidate.
I am running on native W7, SP1, 64-bit. It looks like the VM environment may not be passing the keystrokes....
First select the file operations menu. Then hold ctrl-shift while clicking on validate.
Ah yes, works. Thanks - I probably was not holding ctrl/shift down at the correct spot.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. It turns out that I just need to configure Parallels to pass through CTRL-SHIFT, without trying to translate it to something else.
