SWITCH FROM QUICKEN 2002 (UK VERSION) TO MS MONEY?

With Quicken in the UK ceasing operation at the end of this year, and apparently not even on sale in UK any longer, what are the pros and cons of switching to Microsoft Money? Quicken UK confirms that it IS technically feasible to transfer my Quicken (UK) files to MS Money.

But will this be an improvement, or going backward or about the same? I don't use Quicken for investment files, juist bank accounts and credit cards.

Don't overlook Moneydance (

).

I just switched from Quicken to Moneydance, and so far, I like it better. I'm not in the U.K., so I *could* still buy Quicken, but I won't. I do see that Moneydance allows you to set up your accounts in GBP, and you can select "English (U.K.)" for your locale. I'm not sure what all that does, but I know it changes "checks" to "cheques," changes the date format to "dd/mm/yy," and probably uses the cursive L with a line through it instead of the block S with a line through it.
