Both USAA and American Express are converting to Express Web Connect+. From an email notification:

Quicken has partnered with USAA for a faster, more reliable connection.

We are putting the finishing touches on the new connection now, but when we finish, you can expect fewer download errors and more reliable service—all through a more secure connection.

You don’t need to do anything now. We'll start notifying you within the next 60 days when it's time to make the switch.

Yes, I got the email notification today also (same content as above) that American Express will be switching over. Don't have any accounts with USAA.

I meant to add that once American Express switches over to EWC+, my one remaining Direct Connect account will then be my Quicken Mastercard with US Bank.

I still have a couple of Citi cards on DC and a local bank on EWC. My next big group of DC accounts to move will be with TD Ameritrade. Have already received the notice about transitioning to Schwab early next year. Adding EWC+ to the mix will be interesting.
