[SOLVED] Truist and Wells Fargo OL-297-A

Does anyone know what is happening with Quicken direct connect downloads from Truist and Wells Fargo?

I have been getting OL-297-A "Quicken is unable to establish an Internet connection" errors for over a month now. My other banks work okay.

I see:

a whole lot of other similar issues for other banks.

The first two pages at:

show about 50 ongoing problems over the past week. Is that a typical problem rate for Quicken?

Did someone at Quicken botch something pretty bad that they are unable to fix?

I'm still using Windows 7. Is it likely either upgrading to Windows

10/11 will help? Is it likely downgrading Quicken to and older version (how far back?) might work?

Well, installing Quicken on a fresh Windows 10 install seems to have done the trick. It would be really nice if Quicken would update their notices from "we are working on it" to include "try Windows 10/11".

Not with Truist or Wells Fargo, but I've discovered that, while using Norton 360, if VPN is turned on, I can't update stock prices. Turning off VPN solves the problem.
