If I try to import either 2004 or 2005 Turbotax files, into Quicken 2006, my import fails.
Any advice, or tips. My files are password protrcted, it this a problem?

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think you could ever import TurboTax (or TaxCut or TaxAct or Tax...) into Quicken (in the sense that I think you mean).
You can export Q to a tax pgm. In a tax pgm you can import that export or sometimes from Q directly)
You can't import tax into Q.
A tax pgm might be able to export it's data to something Q could access (QIF?, CSV?...) but I'm not clear on what one would be able to do with it in Q. Geo.
In Q06, Under tax menu, there is a choice for Turbo Tax. Within that, you can import turbo tax data
I assume this was to update the planning section, what if not is it for?
