Quicken 2008 can't import TurboTax 2007 data

I've got a problem importing TurboTax data.

I'm running Quicken 2008 H&B R2, on Windows XP.

I go to Financial Overview | Tax. Under "Use Turbo Tax," I click on, "Import Last Year's Turbo Tax Data."

I navigate to My Documents\Turbo Tax, and select "2006 DeRosa J Tax Return", which is what TurboTax called my 2006 tax file. I click on OK.

The import fails with an error popup that says: "Turbo Tax Import Failed! The tax year is not supported."

Normally at this point I'd ask "what am I doing wrong," but this is a pretty trivial sequence. One product asks me to locate a file made by the other product, and I've giving it the ONLY file created by TurboTax.

Could Intuit have released Q08 without testing the importing of TT data??

Has any other Q08 user successfully imported their TT06 data file?

Huh?

Q2008 contains a tax year 2007 tax planner. In order to do tax planning for 2007, you'll want to import your tax year 2006 data. (Obviously, it's not _necessary_, but it is a convenience.)

Regardless of what number the product's name has, it's being sold in

2007 and it includes 2007 tax planning. To not import 2006 tax data is bogus.

(BTW, the subject of my post should have been, "Quicken 2008 can't import TurboTax *2006* data"...)

An update: In one of Intuit's Quicken forums, a user wrote that she had been able to import TT06 data into her copy of Quicken 2008 Premier.

This means that not being able to import TT06 into Q 2008 H&B is a bug, and not a feature. :-)

Hi, I have Quicken Deluxe 2008 and can not import a 2006 turbo tax file so it must be a feature.
