And a Great 2009 to you

Spoken like a Southern Gentleman which is a redundant phrase.

I had the pleasure of meeting Harlan in Bal-i-mer (the City that Slurs) in 2008). I would have toasted him at midnight last night but was experiencing one of the many expected Maryland winter power outages that come from having a tinker-tool electric service provider.

So at 7:45 am, I first toast Susan, my childbride, who still tolerates me after all these years. Then I toast each and every one of you who have made the 13 years of this newsgroup a joy to me. And let us not forget the late Hank Sievers who made this newsgroup possible.

Go out of your way to be kind to everyone you know and everyone you meet for they too are fighting private wars of their own.

Dick - I truly hope when this year ends I am living again in the Promised Land of North Carolina.

Last year in my annual client letter which I always date January 1st, with salutation "HAPPY NEW YEAR!", my second line was:

"Everything will be GREAT ............in 2008!"

Well, here's hoping clients won't mention those famous last words when I see them this year.

And so to Dick et al:

Here's hoping everything will be FINE .......................... in 2009!

May all your dreams come true and your average client charge increase.
