I just realized that I contributed $1300 too much to my HSA account for 2010 (not 2009) last month. Can I correct this by just writting a $1300 to myself from that account? If so, how do I account for that $1300 withdrawal on my 2010 Form 8889? Would I just reduce Form 8889 Line 2 by the $1300 after I write myself the check?
