Form 433-F

Hi -

Taxpayer got behind and is now negotiating with the IRS. He recently (since accruing the debt he is talking to the IRS about) married. The IRS asked him to fill out Form 433-F. Does he have to include his wife and her information on the form, even though they were unmarried when the debt arose?

Thanks for any insight.

It's been 16+ years since I retired so I'm not up on current practices. Look at IRM 5.15.1 and specifically 5.15.1.5.

Thanks. While it doesn't specifically answer the question, it gave me exactly what I need.
