I recieved some papers from the IRS. I overpaid by $3,000 and they say to sign agreement letter if I agree and send it back.
The problem is there is no agreement letter in the forms. There is an installment agreement letter. But they owe me money. Will they just send me my money back or must I find an agreement form or call them for one?
