Mailing address for Estimated Tax? And a complaint.

I have been using EFTPS to pay estimated taxes. EFTPS has changed its password requirements so that my current password is now invalid. However, my current password consists of random characters, which by coincidence does not have any capital letters.

I protest the IRS's password implementation. The IRS should make it easy for me to pay taxes, not impose burdens on payments. Are they idiots? Frankly, if anybody wants to sign on as me and pay my taxes, he/she is welcome.

So, I am abandoning EFTPS.

I live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. What mailing address should I use for my paper estimated payment?

Screw EFTPS.

You can call the 800 number listed on the webpage (I think

1-800-555-8778). If you have your enrollment number from the time you signed up, your PIN number, then the call is quick as you just key in your info and don't have to wait or talk to anyone.

I'm guessing that the new password is for enhanced security. It's possible that in the past the IRS stored your password in plaintext, but now they store a hash (which means that your password can never be recovered, but then again nor can it be stolen). Or maybe they now restrict the characters you can put into the field, though Ithis does not increase security. Still, EFTPS is convenient.
