Sacha, You can use a Mail Merge inside of Microsoft Word to connect to your Store Ops database.

In RMS run Store Operations Manager, Utilities, Crystal Reports, Customer Mailing Labels. This report will print to Avery 5160 sheet fed labels. A laser printer is best to use. If the label margins are slightly offset, there is an update to this report on CustomerSource in the RMS Reports Library.

We also include an updated version of this report in our Reports/Templates Bundle. These reports are free to install and keep by downloading our RMS Toolkit trial. Besides correcting the margin, our version of the mailing labels report includes additional filters and will skip customers with incomplete addresses so you don't waste labels.

If you need something more powerful but easier to use, consider our V.I.P. Zone add-in which extracts targeted mailing lists for direct mail use. Example: Customers who bought item X or from a selected dept or category, or bought X but not Y, new customers since , purchase dollars > $X, total visits > X, no activtiy since , credit/debit balances, email addresses only, zip code range, etc. This add-in also includes street address validation with Zip+4 (USPS) and reverse number lookup to insert missing addresses or add new customers. A 30 day trial is available.
