I'm an italian tax consultant (please, don't start joking) and I'm interested in understanding which is the experience of foreign "collegues".
Here in Italy the tax consultants operates almost in little companies, consisting unary or few consultants. Maybe you have heard that here the lawmaking is really muddle-headed and always changing, and the relationship with the customer is based on one-by-one relation.
In the last years the little tax companies suffered the competitivity of the Big ones (Deloitte, Kpmg, etc..) and the field is really changing.
The single consultant is still good, or maybe he has to work in team?
In my opinion the added value of the single consultant is always the surplus, and the future, here in Italy, can be held by the single-one consultant.
There in US, that always think ahead and forestall EU, which is the role of the single-consultant??
Moderator: I suspect single-consultant means sole-practitioner.
